Welcome to the blog, my place of reflection, of thoughts, well actually at times of rambles and musings really. I've done a blog off and on for a number of years but it's always been separate from my main site until now. Finally I get to fully integrate everything in one place and it's really quite exciting.
I make no promises of revelations or incredible insight, no certainty that things will make sense or even be spelled correctly for that matter. I can guarantee that they are all my own thoughts (as far as I'm aware) and I will do my best to not besmirch anyone (well not too much) and not to just blog for no apparent reason other than of course i want to get something off my chest or it amuses me.... it may even from time to time amuse you, hey and if it does you can comment on the site and / or on facebook or any number of places... go one, you know you want to read more....
This image was captured about a year ago directly above Lake Alexandrina close to Lake Tekapo in the Mackenzie Country. It?s one I’ve been looking at off and on and trying to decide what it was going to be, turns out that i figured it out at around 3:40 am one morning!
I'm a big fan of Panoramic Images and increasingly when I?m looking ta images I?m finding that I see them finished as a panoramic before I hit the shutter button, appears that i do listen once in a while.

What I love about this image is the way the light comes off the hills, I know i stood and looked at this landscape for about 10 or 15 mins before I got the camera out the bag as i was just blown away, then of course the sun started to hint it was going to pop out, after that it was the 2nd shot of the morning. There were of course a further set of shots the rest of the day but this is one that i really love, I?m certain it?s going to end up on my own wall some time soon.
Enjoy
J
